Pneumonia
What is it?
It is a lung infection characterized by the proliferation of microorganisms within the alveoli, causing inflammation with lung damage. The inflammatory reaction occurs in the alveoli that occupation can be seen on a chest radiograph.
Causes
Pneumonia occurs when an infectious agent invades the lung tissue. These germs can reach the lung by three different ways: by aspiration from the nose or throat, inhalation or through blood.
The airways have defense mechanisms that prevent bacteria reach the lungs, such as cough, the presence of cells with cilia, and cells and substances that are particularly designed for immunity, lymphocytes, neutrophils, macrophages and antibodies. These defenses can be weakened by certain circumstances and thus enabling the bacteria reach the lungs and produce infections.
Some processes that produce these changes in the defense mechanisms are the consumption of snuff, chronic lung disease, alcoholism, malnutrition, diabetes, chronic kidney problems or liver, changes in level of consciousness and other immune deficiencies.

What is lung cancer?
Lung cancer is a disease caused by the proliferation of malignant cells that grow abnormally and uncontrollably, invading the lung itself and the tissues near it and, in many cases, spreading through the blood and lymph vessels to organs distant.
Is of great importance due to its high frequency and severity: The tumor is diagnosed more often in the world.
In the U.S., is the leading cause of cancer death in men and the third leading cause in women.
In Spain it is the tumor that is diagnosed more often in men than in women while it is still not very common.
What is the role of snuff and disease producing mechanisms of lung cancer?

WHAT IS MENTAL ILLNESS
It is an abnormal mental condition. Mental illness is related to changes in character and emotions. This change can be congenital, emotional and interpersonal obstacles. The term disease of the mind, refers to a condition that causes a specific disease sign s and symptoms. There is another way of referring to mental illness, for example, mental disorder, p psychiatric disorder psychological disorder, emotional problems and others.
Mental disorders can be described as major depression, generalized anxiety disorder. Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other more. Diseases of the mind are connected in two ways, biological, for example, (genetic, neurochemical, brain structure) and psychosocial (eg cognitive biases, emotional problems, trauma and cause of disadvantage psocioeconomica. Functions of the liver
One of the main functions of the liver and gall bladder is on the digestion and the production of digestive enzymes which are released into the small intestine. However, the liver helps to control metabolism and works with the body’s immune system to fight harmful cells and substances that threaten the organism (a process called “phagocytosis”).

The liver is a gland the largest of the body and performs several important functions. It has a brownish-red appearance. It is richly vascularized, giving it that dark color. Not less than one and a half liters of blood through the body every minute.
Located for the most part on the right side of the abdominal cavity, just above the duodenum, the liver helps the body digest fats by secreting bile that empties into the duodenum.
The liver also destroys red blood cells, synthesizes urea to excrete nitrogenous waste produced fibrinogen used in the process of blood clotting, the glycogen stores, is involved in the metabolism and storage of vitamins and other products between protective substances and anti-toxic.
